Can I book a table at Café Stein online?
Online reservation is being set up. Until then we take reservations by phone: +43 1 319 72 41, daily during opening hours (Mon–Wed 8 am–midnight, Thu–Sat 8 am–1 am, Sun & Holidays 9 am–11 pm).
Can I reserve for the weekend?
Yes, by phone for Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays too. For Sunday breakfast, groups are well advised to ask ahead, because the house fills up.
From how many people do I need to send a request?
From 9 people. The form on this page asks for your preferred date, number of guests and contact details; we usually confirm within one working day.
Can I reserve a table on the terrace?
The terrace has 200 seats and is open from March to November. Tell us on the phone that you would like to sit outside and we will tell you what can be arranged.
Where do larger parties celebrate?
From around 30 guests, or with a programme, equipment and catering, at Stein's Diners in the basement, for up to 100 guests.
Are dogs and children welcome?
Dogs on a lead are welcome inside. Children too; the house has 200 seats on three floors, so there is always a quiet table.
